John is a retired budget officer for the State of Colorado with 29 years of experience in legal research, writing and defending budget
requests, implementation of computer-related projects, and development and management of a multi-million dollar budget. John
was one of 55 people nationwide to receive a diversity scholarship from the National Trust for Historic Preservation to attend their
2007 conference.
