INGRID BURNETT, PASTEL AND OIL ARTIST
Pastel artist Ingrid Burnett is a former university librarian. Burnett moved to Casper from Monument Colorado in 2007 where she was involved with the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts and taught pastel painting. Currently the Registrar at the Nicolaysen Art Museum, Burnett has a passion for painting landscapes with pastels and also oils. She has exhibited in Denver with the Pastel Society of Colorado, has won awards in Greeley, Colorado Springs, and Palmer Lake, Colorado and exhibited at the Madison and Main Gallery in Greeley, Colorado.
PAULA REID, PHOTOGRAPHER
Paula Reid is a local amateur photographer. She is retiring from a banking career that has spanned close to 40 years in Casper. She started "playing" with her camera about 15 years ago and her friends have encouraged her to take it to the next level. Her favorite pictures are still life and she has captured virtually every flower that has bloomed in the last 15 years in the Alcova area. She has donated several pictures to local charities who have sold them in auctions raising significant funds for the charities. This is her first appearance in a show and she is hoping that her hobby will help her retire gracefully and with a few sheckles in her pocket!
